Notes
thanks to taper Mark Owen for entrusting me
with his 42 year old master tapes & to black sharpie
from LL for putting us together.
portions of the second set become distant as Mark helps
a female companion who got panicky in the crowd up front.
the last 60 min’s were on a cassette that held up especially
well. a really good job taping and a great listen.
* saxophone ?!

Subject: KEITH
Yes, it's too bad that some stuff gets cut but ... for cripesakes the performance is really top notch. Everybody's on top of their game here, and Keith especially is just unleashing wave after wave of lysergic from his keyboard (first coupla songs he's on the piano but then he switches to the rhodes for Row Jimmy, then back and forth "as needed"). This recording captures that and also Bill's soul-shattering cymbal work amazingly well.
Bask in the glory!
* It aint no saxaphone -- that's Keith.
